Vote for Jane Marshall,District 4 Council 2020
Jane is your District 4 INDEPENDENT voice and 30 yr neighbor supported by the community not developers or the special interest groups they donate to (fire association, Chamber, etc)
Jane's worked to improve our quality of life!
- Saved Guajome Park from a 4 lane fwy returning $6 Million to our road budget
- Saved our City Clerk and Treasurer from appointees at twice the cost
- Ensured new granny flats were long term rentals to increase housing
- Oppose rezoning of farmland for sprawl development!
Smart housing starts by stopping spot rezoning for developers, building where roads, sewers, and transit are available with housing that Oceansiders can afford. I've worked with developers to create housing that meets the needs of our citizens.
I'll work with our local community groups and regional partners to solve the root causes and provide transitional support for unsheltered people.
Technology and pharma companies are all around us! We need to encourage them to move to Oceanside for local jobs and long-term city revenues.
Did you know El Corazon is not a park yet? Its being encroached by developers and we need to save our parks and open spaces for the public, increase our urban forestry, and implement our Climate Action Plan with enforceable measures!
Unplanned rezoning for development has caused much of our traffic problems - We need to build thoughtfully around current infrastructure and update the circulation plan to improve traffic flow now and for the future!
"She is hardworking. She is organized. Her expertise and efficiency are saving us money."
"We need somebody on the city council who is a hard worker, who is smart, who is organized, and who cares about Oceanside and its citizens."
Have you tried to drive on College lately? You can thank our current council for the traffic problems - that's why I'm supporting Jane!
In 2017 Oceanside created districts, giving District 4 the 1st time our area has its own VOICE.
Our boundaries are Oceanside Blvd with the Granada area, to Melrose Dr, to Sante Fe Ave, to Hwy 76 with Mance Buchanan/River Ranch and Mission, to Rancho Del Oro Dr, El Corazon, Senior & Veterans Center.
